Gullit 94-96 (a)

This is another repaint in the famous tangerine and graphite kit! The other one I've done in this kit is of Gavin Peacock.

This one was a bit more awkward to do as the original painting from Corinthians (in the 95-96 home kit) was very sloppy! This meant I had to repaint a lot of the arms and legs where the blue from the original figure was sticking out.

The stance in which Gullit is in is also quite difficult to paint around. There are a lot of body parts attached to one another, and it is hard to tell the difference between shirt, shorts, socks and skin! Nevertheless, I think the repaint has come out really nicely.

My only gripe is the shade of Gullit's skin, which is far darker than in real life. This is the opposite problem to the George Weah figure I painted last year!
